About Us

Rev. Steve BlumenthalReverend Steven Blumenthal has been a student of religion and philosophy since 1962 and has studied many of the world’s religions: Judaism (Reformed, Conservative, Orthodox), Christianity, Buddhism, and others. He is a graduate of  San Jose State University with degrees in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Photo Journalism, and has been in the Monterey Peninsula area since 1958. Even as a young boy, Reverend Blumenthal constantly wondered what the meaning of life was, why are we here, do we have a life’s mission? However, he could never find the answers to his many questions. Many of the religious teachings did not make sense to him until he studied The Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, Science of Mind, The Course in Miracles, The Kabala, and the Ancient Teachings of Eckankar. After his research and study, Reverend Blumenthal found the meaning of life and knew he had a responsibility to share his knowledge and experience with the world so that others may find the joy he had found.   November 2010, Reverend Blumenthal was ordained as a Minister and was eager to start his life’s work. He spoke to anyone he came across, helping many. He wanted to reach as many people as he could so he decided to start a church, so everyone could hear his message. In 2008 he founded the Geneva Institute, a Church specially designed to help people to find and understand the meaning of life, connect with the spiritual world, and live a more joyous live. His goal is to help people to find their way home to God, eliminate Karma in one lifetime, and to achieve peace of mind, greater health, and more joy in life.

Linda BlumenthalReverend Linda Blumenthal has been a student of religion and philosophy for many years and has studied many of the world’s religions.  Initially raised as a Catholic, she has studied and explored the many variations of Christianity and Spiritual thought, including Far Eastern religions, Science of Mind, Kabala, and the ancient teachings of Eckankar.  Her goal with the church ministry is to unite people, seek the commonality in faiths, and help them to find their way home to God, achieve peace of mind, and find more joy and health in life.

Reverend Linda G. Blumenthal was ordained November 2010. She is a retired Salinas High School District English teacher.  She is a graduate of San Jose State University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in English Literature. Rev. Robert Menkemellerl-picReverend Robert Menkemeller has been a student of spirituality and philosophy since the early 90’s and has been on a personal search for answers since then. Robert’s Grandfather was a Methodist Minister so he was raised in the Methodist Faith in the early part of his youth. Some of his studies include the Kabbalah, Science of Mind, A Course in Miracles, Buddhism, and others.

He grew up in Silicon Valley and headed off to the Seychelles Islands in his mid-twenties. In Seychelles, he enjoyed sports and fitness as well as photography and the early age of personal computers.  He then moved to Thule Greenland for twenty-one months where his passion for nutrition started.  In 1990, he moved back to the States and found his first mentor, Dr. Kenneth Johnson, an Orthomolecular Nutritionist. Rev.  Robert was inspired by Kenneth to become a Nutritionist in Feb. of 1992. Rev. Robert started his first company in 1995 to educate individuals to become Nutritionists with a licensed, California Private and Post-Secondary school that was started in 1977.  He then met his second mentor, Raymond Francis, M.Sc. in 1996. He learned Raymond’s model of health which he is seeking to spread far and wide as part of a new company and the Geneva Institute’s mission. While working with Raymond on his books and company, Rev. Robert added his God given creative talents to the mix in 2003 by embracing the field of online digital media and learning.  He feels Blessed to have natural health and digital media as two of his passions in life, not to mention his third and most important passion, his spirituality.

Rev. Robert has been studying A Course in Miracles (ACIM) now for over five years and has been teaching for two and a half.  He became ordained in July of 2012.  He has been friends with Reverend Steve and Linda for almost ten years now and looks forward to working with them in the Geneva Ministry to spread their mission.  Rev. Robert’s goal with the church ministry is to engage people’s minds to help them find the Peace of God within and to find more joy and health in this world.
